Cooks for kids

Gather your friends, family, co-workers or church members together to cook a meal for our families. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved as a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. Your donation of time, food and energy is essential to our mission to provide a caring uplifting environment for the families.

The meal program involves preparing dinner (breakfast and lunch 2-3 times a week) for guest families staying at a Ronald McDonald House or Family Room. Please see the chart below and links to more information about each location option:

To volunteer for the Meal Program, please view our meal group calendar to check available dates.  Please choose a couple of possible dates, then contact Tara Adler, Volunteer Manager, at tadler@rmhckc.org or 816-842-8321 ext. 102 for confirmation of availability at the Houses.
