Menu Ideas

Please utilize these ideas and recipes to help add variety to the meals served to our families. Help us avoid meal duplication and email us your planned menu for approval – ideally at least a week in advance so we can communicate the information with families and avoid repeats.

Breakfast

  • Bagels with a variety of cream cheeses
  • Granola, yogurt and berries
  • Assorted fruit
  • Breakfast pastries, donuts, muffins
  • Coffee and flavored coffee creamers
  • A variety of juices

Eats and Treats

Snacks

  • Fruit and veggie trays

Freezer Meals

  •  Sausage egg, or bacon egg and cheese burritos

Lunch and Dinner

  • Made to order deli sandwiches/sliders with fruit and chips
  • Cheese enchiladas, chicken/beef enchiladas, rice, beans and toppings
  • Build your own pizzas with garlic bread and chicken wings
  • Chicken parmesan with alfredo or red sauce, garlic sticks and greek salad
  • Chicken fried rice, vegetarian fried rice, crab rangoon and egg rolls
  • Mac and cheese bar with toppings (bacon crumbles, chives, etc.) and a side salad
  • Steak, chicken and veggie fajitas with chips and guacamole
  • Baked potato bar with toppings (bacon crumbles, chives, etc.) and a side salad
  • Roasted veggies and sausage with dinner rolls
  • Chicken nuggets and fish sticks with broccoli and fries
  • Breakfast for dinner (sausage, bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, etc.)
  • Grilled chicken or pork with coleslaw, a potato dish
  • Hot dog bar with a variety of hot dog options and topping (relish, sauerkraut, onions, bacon, chili, etc.)
