A Place Where Strangers Become Family

Families come to our House from throughout Kansas and Missouri, across the United States, and from around the world seeking medical care for their critically ill children. We surround our guests with love and support from our volunteers, staff and other guest families who share the same hopes and fears. Parents living with us meet and gain support from other guests who understand exactly what they’re going through. Children meet other kids with a tracheostomy tube, a bald head, or a mask covering their face. And volunteers meet other kind-hearted, generous individuals with the same passion for helping others when they need it most.
