We welcome you and your family with comfort and support.
The Ronald McDonald House inside Children’s Mercy is a haven for ICU families, offering a place to relax and find respite just steps away from their child. Located on the 2nd floor of the hospital, this facility provides a cozy, home-like environment with amenities such as a living room area, a kitchen, bath and shower access, and complimentary laundry facilities. Starting August 1, ten overnight sleeping rooms will be available each night for ICU families.
To request a room, please visit us or call 816-234-1533.
Because the Ronald McDonald House is meant to be a respite area for parents and family members, patients are not allowed unless breastfeeding. The hospital does a wonderful job taking care of patients; the Ronald McDonald House is designed to take care of patient’s families while their child is in the hospital.
